John, countries covered by cycle.travel:
cycle.travel/help/route_planning/faqSo, not Morocco (at present).
Thankyou. Any recommendations for other systems. I tried ride with gps but didn't really get on with it so well.
John, you're not helping us very much.
First of all, meaning no offence, if you're asking for route planner recommendations, maybe a route like this is outside of your wheelhouse?
Second of all, what do you mean by 'plan'? For some of us it's a line from A to B. Others will want a display of hotels organised by standard, price etc.
RWGPS would be the planner I'd suggest for that part of the world if for no other reason that Bikepacking.com have it in RWGPS, with a shedload of extra information. However, you haven't told us why you don't get on with it.
Are you plotting the route yourself or planning to import this 'already made'? Personally, I would not trust a route like that that was planned in one place and imported into another.
For anything like that route, I'd want a backup. OSMAND would be that. Works offline. Can plan, save export routes to a device, all offline. Can add my own POIs. Can avoid specific roads. Fantastic tool but if you didn't get on with RWGPS you won't like this. It's not something to be picked up the day before. And it's not something I'd suggest as a primary planner.
However, this is the CT forum. You'll get better info in more specific places online. CGOAB is one. Feckbook, Insta, Youtube etc.
Good luck! That's one hell of an adventure!
