Hi, I am uploading some photos and marks of bike paths. I saved them as public, but only me can see when logged in. Anybody more can see them. 😔

You can see them when planning a route! Take a look at this one as an example – if you click on a section of the route and then choose “Find photos”, you’ll see the pics appear.
It’s very much in its early stages at the moment – they’ll be more visible on the map in the future when there are more photos, and there’ll also be a way for you to assemble your photos together into a trip report.
Wait... How do you upload photos on C.T?
On the app, there’s a photo button in the bottom left that lets you take a picture and upload it. There’s no way yet to do it from the website.
OK, thanks a lot. Perfect.
If you want to share these bike path marks and photos more broadly right now, you might consider cross-posting them to a more established community like OpenStreetMap or a local cycling forum. When you export your photos from your phone or the mapping app to share them elsewhere, you might find they are saved as WebP files. These can be tricky to upload to older cycling blogs or forum threads that don't recognize the format yet.
To make sure other cyclists can see the trail conditions and markers you've documented, you can use webptojpghero to quickly convert them into high-quality JPEGs. It’s a simple way to bypass those "early stage" visibility issues and get your photos in front of the community today.
I follow routes downloaded onto my garmin edge; if I want to record a photograph of a bike path can I just open the CycleApp and use the Photo Button and save it or do I need to be actually following the route on the App at that time for it to be recorded
