I seem to be having a problem with the above. In the past would be able to have a route show up on Osmand. But it has been a year or so and have lost my MOJO!

It would be helpful if you would specify Android or Apple.
On android, use the file manager to locate the downloaded file, normally in the "Downloads" folder, tap on it and you should be given the option of deciding which app to use. Choose Osmand and the job is done.
Depending on the settings of your phone, though, there may be a number of issues, especially if another app has been chosen as a default for gpx files, or downloaded files are diverted to another folder.

Right after I posted I tried again and for just a brief second there was an option at the bottom of the screen to select Osmand then it disappeared. Did it a second time and got it.
I will check the File Manager.
