Philip, you don't say if you're on the app or the website. Assuming the website you'll want to use the 'Delete after' function.

Click on the viapoint at your (preferred) destination. It should look like this:

Click on 'More' on the bottom right. You'll see something like this:

Now click on 'Delete after'. This will delete the 'return leg' of your route.
