Just bought my first bike computer (Garmin 1050) today and setting it up. I've got C.T connected to Garmin Connect and have been able to send a route from the website to Garmin Connect but couldn't see an option from within the iOS app.

Also, is there a way to view the map key within the app or just on the website version?

Justin, I believe that neither version of the app (IOS/Android) has the 'export to Garmin Connect' functionality yet.

I can't speak for IOS but the Android version doesn't seem to have a key.

However, both of those options are available on the website that you can view on your phone.
