I know nothing about Garmin but a quick search ("Garmin Connect" in the search box - top right) revealed this thread. Basically, disconnect your Garmin account from CT then reconnect it.

Is the problem going from c.t. to Garmin Connect or from Garmin Connect to your Edge 530?

Hi Martin, sorry for late response. Problem appears to be from CT to Garmin Connect. I get the amber message saying ‘sending route’ but not the green message saying ‘route sent’! Always used to work!!
