Hi, I have been sent a route from a friend which has been created using cycle.travel and sent me this as a gpx file. I have cycle.travel loaded up on my PC. How do I open and save this route to cycle.travel and see the route via my PC?

Stephen, the easiest way is for your friend to send you the URL of the route.
Alternatively, use the search box (top right of this screen) to search the name.
Uploading a gpx file can be tricky - it can't be too long and it may be adjusted on import - therefore using either of the options above is optimal.
Just tell your friend to make sure that the route isn't labelled as private.
To save the file have a read at the link below. It's easy peasy.
