Hi Bob,
I believe a green section on a route you have created means that it is unpaved. Where I am that seems to mean gravel or dirt, mainly on bike paths.
Yes, that’s it!
If you see a faint dotted green line on the map itself then that’s a footpath which isn’t open for cycling.
