I read in the guide that I can use the app to navigate offline. It says go to setting and select offline. I've looked in settings but there isn't an offline. Can you advise?

Thanks.

To use the app offline we must:

Download Offline Maps (available under Settings)

Download the route(s) (available under 'Save')

Once these steps are carried out you can switch off data/WiFi and use the app offline.

Thanks. Unfortunately there isn't 'down load offline maps' in settings. Only; gravel, night-time, cycle routes, paved only, standard. Reverse route, App settings, Help, Reset distance, Feedback forum, Account status

I've also looked in App setting and Account status.

On Android 'Offline Map' is the first option under 'Standard'.

There's also a 'Help' function two steps down- that explains it too.

If it's IOS I haven't a clue but look for something similar.

This is an Android bug, I think. It should be above ‘App settings’. (You should also have a ‘Clear route’ option above ‘Reverse route’.) Could you tell me what model of phone you have and what version of Android?

Thanks, No mention of offline anything.

The phone is Huawei Nova 5T

Version 12.0.0.158(C431E8R1P2)

It’s not the first time I’ve seen this reported. Unfortunately having tested it on both my Android phone, and about five different Android versions via the emulator, I can’t reproduce it. It should look like this:

and there’s nothing in the code to hide these items. The fact that the ‘Clear route’ item also sounds like it’s missing makes me wonder if it’s a bug that shows up for the first item after a divider.

Just as a quick update, the next version of the Android app (which I’ve submitted to the Play Store and which should hopefully be available at the weekend) will also allow you to download offline map tiles at the same time as you’re downloading a route for offline use. So this should work around this rather elusive Android bug.
