I’m on a 2 weeks into a 3 week tour on the Netherlands and during this tour I’ve become a paying supporter to get the extra features. I’ve been struggling a bit with the app and I’m not a tech person, but thankfully I have an 18 year old son who is and also has a hobby of Open Street Mapping. So each time we go wrong he has been checking and amending the OSM when it’s the fault of that.
Anyhow we’ve been having an issue of the last 100 meters. Cycle.travel will take us near but not to our destination. I’ve also found sometimes it won’t take me via a waypoint (supermarket or shop for camping supplies). I’d also like it to chime or something as it will only take is near (sometimes) and not to our waypoint.
Anyhow what am I doing wrong or is this as heed as it gets? We taken to using cycle.travel and the importing it into CoMaps to find waypoints, then finding them in cycle.travel and altering the route (when it lets me) and then exporting it to IGPSPORT app for my bike computer. It’s a real pain in the ar$e.

I’ve just been told by the 18 year old son that it could be because I have selected Cycle Routes.
Could this be causing the problem?
Indeed – if you have ‘Cycle routes’ selected then it’ll only route along waymarked cycle routes, so won’t go to anywhere that isn’t on a cycle route.
On the website you can use via points to mix-and-match between standard routing and cycle routes only. That isn’t in the app yet but it’s something I’m working on.
