the title says it all, clicking on the elevation graph yesterday would give me the exact gradient on that section which is very useful if it is accurate...?
Today it is just showing the elevation and that was for the same routes. Any idea how to get on that very useful feature again?
BTW amazing site! I will contribute with a coffee soon

Flipo, I believe that sometimes when parts of CT are being upgraded that there can be issues with the full functionality of the website. So, perhaps waiting a while will help.
I can't say that I've noticed your exact situation before but I do know from previous discussions that elevation, and specifically gradient displays, can be influenced by the length of the route. (Using the useful 'Search' function - top right - may help).
I tend to agree. On a short, one-day ride the gradient can be useful info but on a longer multi day ride individual gradients are less useful - and complicated - over the whole route. The colour coding is generally enough for me.
However, if this is urgent for you, a simple fix is to use the 'Overnight' feature - this will give you a summary review. Without %, to be sure, but more useful, I believe.
Failing that, simply 'splitting' the route into shorter sections (a quick test suggests that gradient % is available at up to 120km) will display what you seek.
Using the 'Overnight' feature from above, here is the first day of your route: As you can see, the % is restored. (And more detailed)
Thks for that worked really well!
For my mountain route the limit was 145 km even when playing with the start and finish point;
On a flat terrain the limit was 125 km
You have to click the turn by turn option to see the colour gradients, the overnight feature or the suggest overnight stops did not change anything neither triggered the elevation with colors gradients just plain.
The search did not returned results to me first or I missed it then yes plenty of posts on gradient
The max gradient I am not sure it is always reliable but useful and easy to check
On the app on Android the gradients did not appear but the elevation yes
I checked the gradient on a very small route I know with over 17 percent gradient but it displayed only 4 percent. Maybe because it's on a very narrow gorge with lots of trees and a tiny root but paved.
On another section of the same route it rightly displayed the steep gradient but did not show the red color
Flipo, the following will link to a search for 'gradient' - just click on 'forum' and enjoy!
