I recently discovered that the web map has an option "Suggest a ride".
I like this one. It allows me to generate a nice tour if I am at an unknown place.
However, I seem to be unable to find such an option in the android app.
I would appreciate a pointer where to find it, and if it is not implemented, I would kindly request its addition.

Hi Frans, another user here.
For curiosity, why do you need this functionality adding to the app, when it is available in the website? That is just a couple of seconds away from the app - at bottom right of the app window, tap on Settings, then on Help, and a link that opens the website is in the first item. (Obviously this relies on being connected, but the "Suggest a ride" would rely on that too even if it were built into the app.)
As Richard commented in another recent thread, the app is conceived to be used mainly as the "on your handlebars" partner of the website, providing real-time navigation. Route planning is best done on the website, where there are many more tools (including the suggest a ride feature).

If it is felt that the app is mainly for on-the-road then why have the possibility to create routes in the first place.
Thinking of it, maybe the app should not have the routing options at all but instead when you click on Plan bring you to the website.
Anyway, I can indeed use the web page, and I will create a favourite for it.
Frans, you can't do everything in the app. The app is useful for quick, on the go, point to point planning. The website is unbelievably powerful for planning and has an array of tools not available (nor practical) on the app.
However, the app has features (especially the 'Find a ...) which are not available on the website.

My concern was that if I go to the map and select plan, I get the same options in roughly the same layout as on the web site. There is only one exception here. The web map has "Suggest a ride" as an extra.
UI-wise this is somewhat confusing. If things look the same at first glance people expect it to be the same. And yes, that caused me to think that something in the app was missing.
Personally I would use suggest a ride mostly when e.g. on vacation and I want to make a cycle tour in that area. The app then is the most logical device for me to do the planning (especially because I probably do not have the laptop handy; and yes I know I can open a browser on the phone, but that introduces additional steps and hence is less convenient)
