Hi there, I've been loving using the app to help navigate me through parts of town I'm not familiar with on longer rides. In my neighborhood however I'm often encouraged to use pedestrian paths that a) have an 8mph speed limit and b) have a restriction on motorized vehicles, including e-bikes. Very cool and thoughtful local legislation has cops on some of these paths writing tickets to anyone riding an ebike, specifically those riding respectfully and slowly because they are easy to stop and ticket (even if their bike is turned off!). Is there a way to avoid low-speed paths? Will e-bike support be included in the future? Thanks.

Could you say which town/city this is?
Pacific Beach in San Diego, CA. The Ocean Front Walk (aka the boardwalk) is usually where I get routed. I've updated the tags in OSM to include the speed limit and restriction on e-bikes, and switched it from bicycles=designated to bicycles=yes.
Anything else I should be doing?
bicycles=designated means that there is a sign on the path that allows use of the path
bicycle=yes means cycles are allowed to use the path
As more and more restrictions are placed on ebikes there may be a case in OSM for a specific tag i.e.
ebikes=yes
A tag exists for this: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:electric_bicycle, and should be used where ebike restrictions exist.
(For the unlicensed electric motorcycles that are sometimes called "ebikes" by the media and the general public motorcycle=no, or motor_vehicle=no should suffice)
