Some of my journeys indicate unpaved roads as paved, irrespective of the layer shown. Any fix?

This is a case of missing information in OpenStreetMap, cycle.travel’s source data – the road isn’t marked as unpaved. You can fix it by going to OSM, zooming in on the area, clicking the ‘Edit’ button and marking the road as unpaved – there’s a little tutorial which shows you how it works. cycle.travel takes an update from OSM every month or so, so once that’s happened, the routing and mapping here will reflect your changes!
Thanks Richard - I worried that was the case. We have a local "map bully" who seems to get his jollies from spending his life undoing any changes made by anyone, no matter how sensible the changes are. Such is open-source in a "small pond".
If there’s a systemic problem then do flag it up to me – I can “have words” with people!
OSM 'editors' should have the same restrictions as on Wiki.
Thanks guys - I'll let you know if I strike trouble again, once I find the enthusiasm to have another go.
