Question about relation to OpenStreetMap data

Hi Richard; I just added (for the 1st time) on OpenStreetMap a cycle path. While I did this, I noticed that another part of a cycle path, which is already present since a couple of month in OpenStreetMap is not available in cycle.travel.

See here on OSM: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=16/45.7992/10.0182&layers=Y
(the blue line in the center crossing a river)

and here on cycle travel: doh - picture upload on this website does currently not work(?)

Where does this difference come from? Just a lag of DB updates?

I try again to upload above map snapshot from cycle.travel:
See below - the part of the cyclepath crossing the river is missing

Yes – cycle.travel doesn’t take constant updates from OSM because the extra processing to create its maps/routing takes several days each time. It usually updates every month or so. The bridge looks like it was added 17 days ago.

Thanks for the clarification, Richard. 1 month is plenty! I thought I had seen that bridge already in February. Must have miced something up…

When was the last OSM import, out of interest? I've made some changes a couple of months ago now that I don't think have made it into cycle.travel
