Transport Scotland has announced a further £7m for cycling projects across the country. The money was originally allocated for the new Forth Bridge, which has come in under budget. The cycling spending will be managed through the Sustrans-run Community Links Programme, which aims to provide better bike routes from communities to amenities, improve the National Cycle Network, and install bike parking at workplaces and schools.
