First of all, I'm absolutely in awe of how good this app is and the piece of mind given by not worrying about routing or getting lost!! Thank you so much for such a great tool.
I recently tried to add a marker to a place and got an error message saying that I couldn't do that. After some attempts to resolve i used GPT which seemed to say there was probably a conflict between log in addresses. I made sure that the email address used for Cycle travel and Patreon matched but still no luck.
One other thing I noticed is that although my login shows im a supporter in Cycle Travel, Patron does not recognize that I already contribute.
I'd appreciate any advice to resolve the marker conundrum.

ChatGPT? As long as you're logged in, there shouldn't be an issue adding a marker.
Have you used the search feature to check out the Patreon issue? Folks using Google/Apple don't need Patreon as far as I know.
I mainly use the app for Samsung because I'm currently on a trip. I'm logged into the app all the time. I must have supported not using Patreon because I don't recall using the Patreon site.
Anthony, is there any chance that you were offline when you attempted to add the marker? If I try to add a marker when offline (Android) I'll get a short message 'Sorry, we couldn't save the marker'.
If not, can you recreate the situation and share the message? And tell us where you were attempting to do this. (the location of the marker)
There’s a bug in the current version of the Android app with adding markers. It’s fixed in the next version which will be rolling out soon, but for slightly complicated reasons is dependent on a third-party project shipping a fix too. Sorry for the hassle.
