I'm trying to plan a route from Prague to Linz. I'd like to follow the EV7, roughly, although interested to see the route that cycle.travel suggests. When I pick a route can I see the elevation profile of the ride, or at least get an idea of total elevation gain and loss on the whole route? Thanks! Emma

Look at the panel on the left > Route Tools > select the mountain icon
Yes, you can, Emma.
The Help page will be useful, specifically the Elevation link. Depending on your attitude, you'll find that the elevation estimates tend to be more accurate on shorter sections rather than longer routes. Also, from my own experience, gradient can be a more useful measure than total climb/total descent.
