Is there a way to view the maps in Greece etc with Latin alphabet names rather than Greek alphabet? It unfortunately makes it really difficult to navigate?
thankyou

Paul, for navigation on the app try the OpenCycle Map
For planning, try the standard CT website on your phone.
Going to Settings > App settings > Map language > English will fix some of it. From the next map update in a few weeks, more will be in the Latin alphabet.
(Behind-the-scenes explanation: at present, using the method above, the maps will show an ‘English’ name if that’s explicitly recorded in OpenStreetMap. From the next update, cycle.travel will transliterate the Greek names into the Latin alphabet even if that’s not recorded in OSM.)
Brilliant.. thankyou for the reply that helps.
This is the first time ive properly been using the app during our cycle tour of the Balkans and it is great 👍 it works really well for planning out daily routes. We run a cycling retreat in France so i will be recommending.
(one little thing i would find useful is an undo function when planning routes… eg if you are wanting to go from point to point etc and then need to correct it.. very minor though)
thanks again
Paul
