If the website, click on the 'hamburger' menu on the upper right of the map. At the bottom you can choose 'full screen'.
However, this doesn't seem to be working correctly on my Chrome browser at the moment.
There isn’t currently a way to hide the sidebar on the map page. (Though a little ‘cheat’ is that you can use the mobile map page which doesn’t have the sidebar!)
