Why does cycle.travel not let me cycle route across the Seine on a BAC (free ferry) e.g. the one at Quillebeuf sur Seine??

Grahame, CT uses Open Street Map data, data supplied by volunteers (which we can also add to ourselves). Often, requests posted here can result in the fixing of incorrect data.
In your case, it seems to be working as can be seen here
Clicking on the ferry portion of the route reveals that it has limited times of operation. It may be an idea to consider placing a Marker to remind yourself of this fact.
Interestingly, CT will not route via the ferry if the 'Paved' option is selected.
For future reference, when we want to go somewhere that we are sure is possible and safe we can use the direct to / draw straight lines feature. More information available under 'Help' and 'Advanced Features'.
My thanks to HobbesOnTour
The BAC operating hours do not appear too restrictive. Roughly every 20 mins between 0530 and 2230. More frequently in rush hours.
Same on other BACs across the Seine I think.
Only got caught out once. They were on strike.
I think the paved issue here is that there’s a cobbled approach to the ferry. Good cobbles vs bad cobbles is an ongoing challenge but one I’m looking at!
Where the website for the ferry is recorded in OpenStreetMap, c.t provides a link (see “Website” in the bubble above) so you can look up the opening hours.
