I think this might happen sometimes if it doesn’t have permission to access location in the background. It shouldn’t actually affect anything otherwise but I’ll take a look.

I've also found this annoying since the last update. The only way to quash them is to enable location access "at all times" (instead of "only while using the app"), which I'm not happy doing (partly because it then causes Android to constantly give you "this app is using your location in the background" notifications whenever the app is running).
