Help, I am just starting a long tour and have a problem. On routes I send to garmin connect I do not get turn by turn directions, which I really want. At home if I downloaded the gpx file and copied to my edge 1050 I would get the directions. On the road I only have an iPad or iPhone, no computer. Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi Ralph. Have you checked that turn directions are enabled on your Edge. It's the kind of thing that sometimes turns itself off during updates. Go to your saved courses, top right are three dots, press and then make sure turn directions are on.
If that doesn't solve the problem you could give some more information about your setup. Have you got the Garmin app on your phone? Do you send via WiFi from cycle.travel to connect/app? Bluetooth or WiFi from connect/app to the Edge?
Just for background info, Garmin Connect always adds the turn-by-turn instructions itself – it wouldn’t show c.t’s turn-by-turn instructions even if c.t sent them. So yes, I think this will be a setting in Garmin Connect somewhere.
