I'm in awe with how convenient and easy it is to retrack my routes after the fact and I love the results I can share. However, while I've had great success in importing and editing the GPX files I used on my latest travel through France, I'm unable to efficiently convert the .KMZ files from my previous trips. Those are the only files I have from a 9-months journey. I used ExpertGPS to do the convertion but the segments I edited or added by hand in my Google Map don't appear on the .GPX when I import them to the Map.

Richard, I'm no expert on this but my understanding is CT can only import gpX files. Nothing else.
You don't say how you have these KMZ files? If a ride is recorded on a gps unit, my understanding is that the FIT file is the most common type. Do you have FIT files? If you have FIT files and a Garmin, I think Garmin Connect can convert the FIT to gpx?
Can you clarify this, please:
Does this mean that some 'segments' can be imported and seen while others can't?
If not, can you elaborate on 'don't appear on the .GPX when I import them to the Map.'?
I have taken the FIT files from my Wahoo unit, converted them to gpx and imported those into CT. (It is the only use I have found for Komoot that does not endanger my life! :-) ) However, we must be careful as CT sometimes adjusts the route on import.
