I am unable to download more than a few GPS files a time. I am cycling LEJOG in 20 stages and will be leaving tomorrow, with only 9 GPS stages downloaded (in two sessions), so this has become an urgent problem. Is there a limit to how many GPS files can be downloaded? Can it be lifted please? Thanks.

Michael, I've looked at your journeys and was able to download 10 of your stages in a few seconds to my android phone.

Sometimes the server can be slow if updates are being carried out.

If still not working perhaps you could provide more info on what type of files you're downloading, where to and how you plan to use them (app, GPS unit etc.)

Alternatively, check things on your end - what memory is available and download speed or WiFi/data speed.

I think this should be working now - it's a long-standing issue with routes split into multiple days that I’ve been working on pretty much solidly all weekend. Sorry for the hassle.

If not., for any GPX files you can’t download, please:

make sure you are viewing it on the map page (not the Journeys page)
click “Show turn-by-turn instructions” (bottom left on desktop, or on the ‘Directions’ button at the bottom on the mobile website)
then download the file
