I am puzzled. I have been planning my ride down the Rhine for several months, from home so on my laptop and WiFi.
I am now doing it. I have every day's ride in the cycle.travel cloud , but I can't see how to download them to my phone. It may not help that I pay through Patreon, started off with the iPhone app and am now on Android. The app doesn't think I'm a subscriber.
What might I be doing wrong? I'm on day 2 of 20 so there's plenty of time to get it right.
Thank you
Christine

It sounds like you’ve accidentally set up two accounts with two different email addresses. On your phone, log out and then log in again using your hotmail address (not the four-letter domain address) - that should be the right one.
My new phone asks me to subscribe, yet I can access my routes on Wifi, but not download them. Once I'm away from Wifi, it tells me where I am, but I have to work out the route as I go. I can't see how to log out.
On the app, click Settings (bottom right), then Account status, then Log out.

I recently cycled the Rhine using the Android App all completely offline. This is what I did.
1) Planned the routes as you did and downloaded the relevant map tiles.
2) Emailed the routes to my own email address
3) On the android phone logged into my email (microsoft 365) and downloaded the routes.
4) In the Browser app on the phone I selected 'download' and all the gpx routes appeared. Clicking on them and opening with cycle travel fired up the map with the route displayed.
Hope that helps
P.S Make sure you visit Xanten - a lovely town.
Thanks, Richard. I don't know why I didn't see it before, but I have now - and I have downloaded several instalments.
Brian, thanks too. I'm not fast enough to do the whole river in one go, so I'm stopping at Cologne. Konstanz to Cologne has nice alliteration out loud, and Cologne to Brussels is easy for Eurostar. I'm thinking of doing the Moselle added to the lower reaches of the Rhine in the future, so I'll look out for Xanten then.
I don't understand gpx. Do I need another app?
