Hi, when I save a route I've created online it doesn't automatically appear in routes on app. Or how do I sync both. I've only just started using cycle travel so I'll figure it out in time. I really like cycle travel, so much I've become a supporter!

Graham,
Can you see any of your saved routes on the app? If not, it's likely an issue that different email addresses have been used to set up the CT account & the app.
If you can then it's a matter of 'refreshing' the routes app. Look for the refresh symbol on the 'Routes' page
Thanks HobbesonTour. To be honest, I'm struggling to see what email I have used to set up the app as it is proving difficult to find but 99 per cent sure it would be the same as online. And refreshing routes on app did not sync with the web routes. I love the routing on cycle.travel but the user experience needs more work. Perhaps the developer would beneft from a zoom with a panel of new users once in a while.
I think the problem is that you’ve used Apple’s ‘Hide my email’ option when logging into the iPhone app. This means that the cycle.travel app doesn’t get to see your email address, so it’s unable to log you into your existing cycle.travel account.
The result is that you have two accounts, one using Apple’s secret email address and one using your normal email address. That’s why the routes aren’t syncing – you have two separate accounts.
If you send me an email (info@cycle.travel) from your normal email address, I can marry the two accounts up.
The ‘Hide my email’ option is a colossal pain and I’d like to be able to disable it but unfortunately Apple doesn’t allow that!
Ah, that would explain it Richard, I will send you that email. Cheers, Graham
