Is there a setting to keep the screen lit at all times
I've missed turns when the screen is off .
If the app doesn't think it's a turn is remains unlit and no audible warning given as it doesn't see it as a turn. Every app I've tried has this flaw, when is it a turn or not a turn. If the screen remained lit I could see for myself.

Colin, you can access the app Settings and then toggle 'dim between turns' on or off.
After that, it depends on your phone settings. You may need to access the 'sleep' function. Mine is accessible under 'lock screen'.
Be warned that the screen being on constantly will drain the battery.
Perhaps a better approach is to let the screen go to sleep but tap it into life when approaching a possible 'junction'?
On any case, CT will give an audible warning if off course.
