As I continue editing OSM around my place, and still do not see effects on c.t, I was wondering if there is a simple way for me (besides asking;-) ) to know when did the last map update occur. This would help me deciding if I just need to be patient, of if I need to solve some caching issues on my side :-)

Cecile, as far as I know, CT is updated from the Open Street Maps approximately monthly. My (amateur) understanding is that it's a pretty big job, hence the monthly schedule.
Recently, Richard has suggested that the focus on the app may have slowed down the schedule, slightly.
As far as I know there is no "last updated" data field on CT but that may be something for the ever lengthening to-do list.
