These are generally the abbreviations for individual signposted cycle routes – a bit like National Cycle Network numbers in the UK. The map only shows the abbreviations, but if you plan a route along them, then the full name will be in the turn-by-turn instructions (and in the pop-up bubble if you click on a section).
