This takes bikes and pushchairs from the retail units around Station Road, by a quiet and pleasant route up to the Town Hall. There are two short stretches where you’ll need to walk your bike, and a gate to 'Corbett’s passage' (courtesy of private owners, so please be respectful) that might be locked outside daytime hours.

From Station Rd, turn up Lewis Rd, then first right into Cross Leys. At the junction, turn left then first right into Withers Way, then first left along the path and into New Street Car Park. Head along and up hill towards New St until you enter Hill Lawn Court on the right. Head up through the gate into ‘Corbett’s passage’ until you emerge by the Town Hall.
