Technically speaking, this is not the Oder-Neiße bike path anymore, but we had a few extra days before returning home.
And, there are some nice quiet roads for cycling, as well.
If you don't mind the occasional climb.
Or trains passing.
We were long in the hotel when the shower began.
We left the Polish border and crossed into Czechia at the Three-Country-Corner.
And continued to Liberec.
A shorter ride today, so we could make a swim stop at the lake
which used to be a mine.
Lunch break at a nice and calm monastery.
Then along the Neiße again on a perfect bike path.
We had to stop at a cafe during a shower, but arrived more or less dry in Zittau.
All cafés were closed in Rothenburg.
So we went to the easternmost café of Germany for a coffee.
On to scenic Görlitz,
with cars degrading the view sometimes.
The border is never far away.
Storks like it there, too.
The beautiful park and castle at Bad Muskau were surprisingly calm.
(And in suprisingly well shape, since it was a complete ruin last time we were there, 30 years ago.)
