All cafés were closed in Rothenburg.
So we went to the easternmost café of Germany for a coffee.
On to scenic Görlitz,
with cars degrading the view sometimes.
The border is never far away.
Storks like it there, too.
The beautiful park and castle at Bad Muskau were surprisingly calm.
(And in suprisingly well shape, since it was a complete ruin last time we were there, 30 years ago.)
More green.
A break near an old water power station.
We completely missed the large coal mines just a few hundred meters away. Instead more grass and trees on perfect bike paths.
One of many bridges along the way which were destroyed in WW II and never rebuilt.
Onward to Forst where a very friendly member of the local boating club let us camp on their idyllic lawn.
Took just one picture near Eisenhüttenstadt.
The rest of the scenery was beautiful as always. The campground by a lake, too.
