Reached the Venntalbahn, a great cycle path on old railroad tracks.
Spent the night at the Monschau youth hostel which is in an old castle overlooking the town.
It rained all day, so we took a day off and went to the Ludwig Forum in Aachen.
Going nicely along the Wurm river. Again, nothing spectacular, so I didn't even take pictures.
This is the first leg of a travel from the Rhine near Düsseldorf to the Loire near Tours. It is part of a three-months journey through BeNeLux, France and Spain.
There was nothing spectacular about this first day (it actually rained quite a bit), but it was nice to start from home.
The charming campground at the end has some nice sculptures. And it was sunny again.
