Follow the coast road (rat run possible by bearing right at VP1). Look for the gushet - El Venizelou - with a rental shop on the RHS. [@ 3miles]. Follow this, past Avra Beach resort and turn right at VP2, then bearing back left continuing straight on beside the beach at VP3. Follow the road past Vrachos on RHS and La Bonita restaurant on the left, swinging round 90 degrees left at VP4 into Ierou Lochou. Follow this road back to the main road at VP5 and turn right on the main road for two miles.

Pass the EKO and BP petrol stations on R and L side, and just after the TEIEIMOIPH supermarket and Shell garage on the left, turn left at the fork onto Ikaron (VP9). Now start a steady gently-graded ascent to Pastida. There is a bar on the RHS @ 7-mile point. Follow this road to the roundabout at VP11 and fork left here, passing newish build and a couple of bars (Lithos, Champion) then keep straight on the main road (i.e. bear right) at VP12. At VP 13 either stay on the main road (bearing to the right) or SO into Pastida's main square.

There is a pizzeria on the left just before VP 13; and the main square at the crossroads has a bakery, cake shop, Giannis cafe bar, plus a Skalakia taverna, coffee shop and cafe. There are some shops in the village centre.

The bee museum is further on, just over a mile heading southeast on the main road towards Kalithies. Cycle.travel route planner says it's at the 10-mile Via point, and there is around half a mile of moderate 6% climb involved.
