BUG: split not always working as expected

I loaded the journey https://cycle.travel/map/journey/980180 and wanted to split it into individual day trips, so I selected save and checked the split checkbox. This gave 6 files. When trying to load these day 1, 4 and 6 load as expected.
However for days 2, 3 and 5 the behavior is different.
The file is loaded but the map does not zoom in onto the track. The map shows the center of the Netherlands while the journey is in Belgium.
Also those 3 days do not show directions in the editor.
And when in My Journeys it is not possible to load the gpx track for those 3 days.

This is all on PC: Ubuntu/Firefox. In the app the journeys show as expected.

Hi Frans, another user here. I can't help directly with your problem, but I wonder if it would fix the way days 2,3,5 show in the website if you open them in the app, and save them from there?

And perhaps also try using the option in the app's  save menu to "open on web"(= opens the route in the website) to see it if it then displays correctly. If it does, the save process in the website allows you to give the route a new name, which might help to keep things clearer.

Good luck.

Hi Simon, thanks for your quick and helpful reply.

Triggered by your reply I loaded day 2 in the app and pressed save. After that I could open the journey on the web, see directions and download gpx.

Then I did the same for days 3 and 5 with good results.

Still a dev might want to look into this.

Good to know your problem is resolved. I'm sure Richard (developer) will think about the underlying issue.

On reflection, and in case it is of any help to anyone else, I think that simply opening in the website and re-saving from there also might have fixed the issues of the map centring and lack of direction.
