Having already cycled from London to Paris by the Avenue Verte, via dieppe, I'm considering extending, from Paris to Chamonix. Since the first trip I've graduated to an E-bike. I'll be carrying camping kit and happy to use campsites with electric hook-ups, if indoor accommodation is not possible. My plan is to return home by train, wherever I land up. Has anyone come across problems on the French rail routes, carrying E-bikes? Have any of you seen good French cycling maps, showing greenways. I'll also have a bike computer with downloaded maps. If any of you need any help with cycle tours in Scotland, please feel free to get in touch. I live in Fort William. Cheers, Alan.

Alan

I think you would find it productive to ask this on the Cycling UK forum - see https://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewforum To submit a query you will need to register to join that forum but SFAIAA it is free and open to anyone.

There is a specific section for Touring & Expedition issues, and in that a thread about  use of trains, so make your enquiry there.
