Is this because the routing is not picking up the velo routes? I have created a route called Luberon to illustrate.

I’ve just taken a look and the traffic weighting for major roads in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur was a little skewiff. I’ll kick off a map update in the next couple of days so that it picks this up – thanks for noticing it. In the meantime you can use the “routes only” mode and that’ll faithfully follow the veloroutes!
Thanks for understanding.
We rode the velo alternative this morning. To be fair the the route calculator the route was quite a indirect and hilly, but wonderful.
We rode around villages like Roussillon, Gordes and Rustrel and I there I chose to do micro journeys.
Thanks again for this fabulous resource, John
