Hi, could there be an option to disable the automatic brightness boost at launch? I don't know why it doesn't use the brightness that I have set my phone to.

c.t only changes the brightness in connection with the “Dim between turns” feature, but Apple’s brightness code is really unpredictable and erratic so it’s possible it’s started reacting in some new way. What phone model and iOS version are you on?
iOS 16, iPhone 8
It boosts the brightness as soon as I open the app. "Dim Between Turns" is off in settings.
That’s strange - I guess it must be a difference between phone models (my 12 doesn’t do that). I’ll have a poke around and see if that’s fixable.
Thanks, hope you find it. cycle travel is the only app I have seen doing that :|
Version 1.4.2 should now be in the App Store – let me know if that fixes it for you.
