Hi! Brand new cycle.travel user (experienced in GIS, GPS, etc). I created an account on the website, created a route, saved, tried to send the route to my Garmin Connect account (into which I am logged in). CT throws an error "We couldn't log you in (Garmin said 'session_expired')." No big deal, I will download the tcx or gpx files and will send them to my device myself. But I thought this "session_expired" error was strange.

Odd! Garmin Connect does sometimes throw random errors though. If you go to your user profile page, click ‘Remove Garmin Connect link’, and then try again – i.e. the equivalent of turning it on and off again – that does usually fix it.
(For the info of anyone else just reading along, Atanas saying he’s “experienced in GIS” is the equivalent of the Pope saying he’s “experienced in Catholicism”)
Problem fixed. Most likely user error. I assumed that if I was already logged into Garmin Connect in a different browser tab, the session would persist across other tabs within the same browser. It did not. After I connected to Garmin Connect from within my CT user profile, everything worked. I was able to sync my routes with Garmin Connect and with my Garmin device, and will ride it this weekend, weather permitting.
Very impressed with your product/ service so far. Equally impressed with your responsiveness and attentiveness to user comments. Not always the case with other platforms.
