I'm a new user and just discovered cycle.travel. The web site works perfectly well both on my laptop and my phone. However, the mobile app on my Android mobile phone just shows a yellow screen as if it couldn't load any map. It can't show any of the maps I saved either, as if it couldn't connect to the server.

It's quite difficult to diagnose this at distance. Suggest that you check that "Location" permission is allowed for the app?

So, long press the cycle.travel icon until the "App Info" bubble appears. Tap that and check permission includes location:

It's working this morning so whatever the issue was seems to have been resolved. I double checked the location permission just in case and it's set properly.

Glad it’s working! Not something I’ve ever seen before (but Android is a bit like that).

The first thing I would check in this instance is usually if you’ve installed any extra security software – the way that cycle.travel accesses its maps could potentially cause false positives there.
