I am using the app on an iphone 11 running ios 18.6.2.
If I zoom in on certain locations using the cycle travel map or the wayfarer map, the app freezes. If I continue zooming, at some point the blue "current location" dot appears and can be moved.

Thanks for the report and the video! (For my future reference – this is just east of Stüsslingen.) I have seen this very occasionally so it’s good to have a reproducible example.
I think this is a bug in Maplibre, the software which cycle.travel uses to draw its maps. I suspect that the shape of some of the woodland around there is formed in a way that is somehow confusing it. I’ll investigate to see if there’s a way round it.
