Hi,
First, thank your for the work on this project. I have 3 comments/bug reports:
(1) I have been using the app for touring for a week and since yesterday I noticed that the app often ends up in a wrongful state. It is not updating my GPS position (after some time giving turn by turn instructions normally) and I end up missing turns. I have to kill the app and restart it to make it work again. This is on 60ish kms itineraries on paved roads in Italy.
(2) I have another comment about bike paths: while on bike paths, turns are sometimes not detected. But if a bike path is turning 90 degrees, even if theoretically "separated" with normal roads with cars, there should be an instruction to turn right imo. Because in reality, bike paths are not so well defined in cities and sometimes are kind of on the side walk and so on. I'd rather have too many turn by turn instructions than not enough.
(3) for the sake of avoiding a busy road, the app has brought me to very (very like pushing the bike for 25mins) steep village roads leading to the top of the hill. Maybe something is off with the weights of the algorithm. A very steep hill is not better than a little bit of a busy road. But I understand that's only my opinion and some people would prefer that. So maybe an option ?
Thanks again for the work.

Is this Android or iOS?
Could you give some examples of where points 2 and 3 are happening? Perhaps link to a saved route, or give your start/end points, so that I can examine the issue.
This is Android.
A quick update: (1) is my mistake. When the screen is dimmed, I did not know that I just had to touch it for it to come back on. So I pushed the lock screen button and therefore locked the phone. Which, in combination with the power saving mode, deactivated the GPS. If you want to prevent that, you could do like Google maps and have a voice or message say "GPS signal lost". It took me several days to understand that because when I pushed the button twice, the map re-appeared so I did not suspect that the locking happened... anyway.
When I am paused somewhere, I'll look for examples of 2 and 3.
