Hi, first and most important, thank you for the website and mobile app - great, reliable routing that is making my bike-touring more enjoyable :)
An odd thing happens on my phone with the app installed - I can't see it mentioned elsewhere but apologies if I've missed it and please signpost me. When I open the phone/contacts app, it offers me options to make calls and send messages via cycle.travel. I can't work out how to remove cycle.travel as a communication app. Any thoughts welcome! Thank you.
Technical info: I'm using a Fairphone 3, running /e/ OS (a degoogled OS, see https://doc.e.foundation/what-s-e#degoogling--ungoogling). I've uninstalled and reinstalled the cycle.travel app and restarted the phone, and checked the app permissions (location on, nearby devices off) and the behaviour is the same whether 'open apps by default' is on or off. Screenshot attached.
Also a screenshot of the 'phone calling app' permissions. That's the only app that's listed as 'allows you to make and receive telephone calls'. Again, the behaviour is the same whether 'open apps by default' is on or off in this app.
And finally a screenshot of the contacts app permissions. Again, the behaviour is the same whether 'open apps by default' is on or off in this app.

That is very strange! The only external ‘offer’ that the c.t app makes is to open GPX files, so I’m not sure why it’s showing up there. Will take a look and see if I can figure what’s going on.
Thanks Richard, that's very prompt and I'd be very interested if you can get to the bottom of it! But it's a relatively minor issue, of course.
