Hi, I've been using the site a lot this summer but have recently had a couple of weeks off the bike. I returned to the site today to plan a local ride, and one of the main roads near me has disappeared off the cycle.travel map. This has obviously caused some panning issues! I've checked on other plotting websites and it appears to have gone from them too.
Any suggestions?

I've taken screen shots of the cycle.travel base map and the OS map to show what's missing.
The first image is the basemap with the route from start to finish points shown, however there should be a road that runs direct from start to finish rather than the circuitous one.
The next image has the OS map showing the road that is missing.
This is in the northern Lake District, between Wigton and Caldbeck
An OpenStreetMap editor had (I presume accidentally) changed it from “road” to “track”. cycle.travel – like most bike mapping sites/apps – gets its data from OSM. I’ve now fixed it in OSM so it’ll return next time c.t takes an update, which should be a couple of weeks’ time.
Brilliant, thanks Richard.
I've signed up as a supporter as cycle.travel is by far the best planning tool I've used!
Thank you! Really glad you like it.
