After passing some rice fields

we are back at the Mediterranean.

A short detour in Valencia.

Then some backroads 

to Sagunt with its impressive old  castle.

Again quite a few ups and downs

and then a long stretch of orange fields.

(Took the train for the last 15 kilometers to Valencia to avoid suburb traffic.)

Wonderful old railroad tracks,

pictoresque villages along the way

and a good descent

to Ontinyent.
