I'm planning an attack on the Pennine Bridleway in 4 weeks (yikes!) and I'd like to use C.T to plan my daily maps and excursions off route to feed/sleep stops.
Many of the trails used aren't even on OSM yet, for example the northernmost few miles from the B6259 Hazelgill to the A683 Ellergill has a big gap in the OSM trails. I've uploaded the gpx from National Trails to OSM but I've no idea how long it will take for that to be usable. Even then, creating the whole route again in C.T will be a bit of a pain. Is there anything you can do to shortcut me handballing it?
Thanks
Take a look at the turn by turn for this route at 29.5 miles:
http://cycle.travel/map/journey/12612
The instruction is:
Slight right onto Chinthurst Lane 600m; becomes Poplar RoadHow often does the C.T site refresh it's data from OSM?
I found a bridleway that C.T would not use due to an error on OSM, the bridleway didn't reach the road at one end. I've corrected OSM and the correction has come through to the standard layer, when roughly should I expect C.T to pick it up?
