Hi Richard,
a Feature Request for the mobile app:
When i open a folder it seems the journeys are currently sorted by modification date. Would it be possible to offer a second sorting mode, that sorts by distance of the starting point to my current location, so the most relevant jouneys asre listed first, regardless of age?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Hermann
Hi Richard,
not a new issue - i observed it at least a year ago: if you deviate from the current route, the app sounds an alarm.
The annoying thing, as i have started to listen to audiobooks on longer rides: afterwards the volume of the phone is way down and stays there until the app is killed and restarted. Then its back to its normal level until the next alarm. Any chance to leave to volume setting unchanged?
Best regards,
Hermann
Hi Richard,
would it be possible to 'recenter' the map, if ct detects an upcoming crossing, but the current location is no longer visible on the map?
Happens if you accidentally move the map and later approach a crossing. The ct app detects the crossing and un-dims the screen. Since the map still shows the previous location a few miles back, I now have to stop and re-sync it to see where to proceed.
Best regards, Hermann
Hi Richard,
I have two suggestions to improve the tour-planning experience on the map page (web):
1. make the color of the calculated route dependent on the selected map background. I prefer CycleOSM for trip planning, which uses blue to show cycle ways. This makes it sometimes hard to distinguish the route from the map background (same for OpenCycleMap). So showing the route in another color, e.g. in red, would improve the visibility when using these backgrounds.
2. In my opinion, showing the turn-by-turn instructions during the planning stage of a tour makes no sense. On the other hand, locating via-points I have placed on the map is sometimes difficult. So maybe the turn-by-turn list can be replaced by a list of the via-points with the option to delete or reorder them?
Best regards, Hermann
