Thanks, Tim Hoyle

Abbreviation TDM

I am trying to plot a route for the Tour de Manche starting in Glastonbury. The route will be Glastonbury, Plymouth, Roscoff, Cherbourg, Portsmouth, Glastonbury. Any more detailed suggestions welcome.

Near Plymouth and Roscoff shown on the National and Regional routes is the abbreviation TDM. Does this stand for Tour de Manche? If so why is the marking not shown all the way along the whole of the round trip.

Transferring gpx routes directly from an android tablet to a garmin etrex30 GPS?

Whilst on cycle tour, without a PC but with an android tablet, can I transfer a new route to my garmin that I use on the bike. (assuming I have a suitable lead? At home I would use a PC and transfer using Basecamp.

What does NRW mean on some cycling routes in Cologne, Germany?

I am trying to find a cycle friendly route in Cologne to take me from Hotel Motel One, Mediapark to the Hauptbahnhof. The route plotted indicates NRW on some of the directions. These could be to do with one-way streets for vehicles but not bicycles. Please could you clarify for me? Thanks. Tandemtim

Fenny Castle Tea Rooms

This popular stop has unfortunately closed.

However I can reccomend the Wookey Hub as an excellent cycling stop opposite the church in Wookey outside Wells to the west.
