There are a LOT of tiny roads in Latvia that are classified as paved when in reality they are barely passable dirt tracks.
Taking an educated guess, it seems like it’s only on unmaintained “roads”, of which there are a lot. Is it possible that cycle.travel is importing roads that aren’t classified as either paved or unpaved and assuming they’re paved?
Or is this 100% on OSM?
Basically the title. Route from A→B, ride most of it, find a coffee shop, tap "Navigate to here", and it routes from the starting location instead of your current location. It doesn't always do this, and even when it does it's often not an issue as the route goes through where you already are anyway, but sometimes it completely changes the routing behind you, so you don't actually get a route to the coffee shop.
Also, related but I don't want to keep creating more posts ;) -- Is it possible to expand the nearby search to a greater radius? I think it's currently at 5km, but that's fairly restrictive if I want to find food within the next half an hour or so (I'm currently in the Baltics so the closest restaurant is often 30km away, lol)
It seems like the "Routes" routing requires the route to stay on bike routes. So if you're routing over any distance it often fails as you need to get off of actual routes for a few km. And it won't route to specific locations.
The "Standard" routing often requires 100 small adjustments to stay on a EV or other route.
Can't save routes over a certain length (≈4,500km). I'm guessing there's a problem with the polyline or points parsing above a certain length.
Example: Tallinn ⇒ Lisbon
FWIW, I don't think you need to save or parse that data. It'd probably make more sense to just save the waypoints & settings and regenerate the map.
On the web UI, dragging a pin to the UK immediately breaks/cancels any existing route and breaks the site until you reload the page. I had a nice route from Copenhagen->Stockholm->Helsinki->Tallinn->....->Paris and tried to drag it to London and *poof*, error message about not being able to route into the sea, and route gone. Can't even drag it back without reloading the page.
